Introducing our department.

The Department of Global Business aims to "cultivate international human resources with integrated knowledge that can adapt to the global environment" and to enhance foreign language skills so that students can adapt to the global business environment and enter overseas markets.

For this purpose, the department helps students to acquire more specific and intensive knowledge through step-by-step learning of English, Chinese, and Japanese, and by operating two programs, overseas marketing and glocal management, through economic management and overseas market research.

Educational Goals
  • Cultivate internationally-minded human resources capable of adapting to the global environment
  • Cultivating human resources with practical skills necessary for the nation and local communities
  • Cultivating global business professionals specialized in foreign languages and global markets.

By doing so, we aim to create business professionals who are competitive in the global environment and fused human resources who are adaptable to the 4th industrial revolution.

Introducing Our Department's Distinctive Programs

Distinctive Program

  • Global Company Analysis ContestThis is a multinational company analysis contest held every year between October and November to realize the department's vision of "training overseas market professionals who are competitive in a global environment. Teams of students explore companies, analyze their goals, marketing, successes and failures, and deepen their understanding of global companies.
  • Foreign Language Education ProgramAlong with native English lectures, students can choose a foreign language from Japanese and Chinese to study step by step in the process of their first and second year and obtain a foreign language certificate, which can be used as a basis for exchange study opportunities to the U.S./China/Japan.

    Big Data Analysis CircleThis circle allows you to develop your big data analysis skills through programs such as Python and R. You can strengthen your abilities by experiencing big data analysis tools in cooperation with overseas marketing modules. You can obtain data analysis related certifications and have opportunities to participate in external activities such as contests.

    WTO Norms Study GroupThis circle explores social issues related to world trade. You can deepen your knowledge about companies by having discussion time related to trade issues and analyzing marketing trends. Based on the knowledge acquired through academic activities, students can visit companies directly and gain a variety of experiences.

    Startup CircleThis circle is designed for students to enjoy studying about domestic and international companies along with employment in the Department of Global Business. Through regular gatherings, each group has time to analyze companies, participate in external activities, and have time to solidify their foundation so that they can find employment in better places.
